"If the brand is no longer popular or involved in scandals, it will lose value." Thomas Zabel about Branded Residences in German newspaper "Handelsblatt"

The German daily newspaper "Handelsblatt" (issue 113/2019) recently interviewed Thomas Zabel, Head of Residential Development Germany, about Branded Residences. He also pointed out the risks of this concept: "If the brand is no longer popular or involved in scandals, it causes a loss of value," he says. One example would be Donald Trump. The value of his luxury apartments fell after his election as president.

The article "Wohnen wie im Hotel" also refers to the first stand-alone luxury residence of the hotel chain "Four Seasons" in London.

The Handelsblatt is one of the most influential newspapers in Germany. According to the media analysis company "Media Tenor", the Handelsblatt is the "most cited economic title" in Germany.
