gsp STÄDTEBAU GmbH is commencing sales of the residential property project, High Park, at Potsdamer Platz. The property being offered at Gabriele-Tergit-Promenade 21 in Berlin-Mitte, includes a total of 165 condominium apartments, 38 serviced apartments, and nine retail spaces. "This unique location here, on the last remaining construction plot at Potsdamer Platz, was just begging for a development that would do it justice", says Jürgen Blankenberg, CEO of gsp STÄDTEBAU. "The name of the project, ‘High Park', reflects the premium quality of the architecture and the exclusive location by the Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Park." Zabel Property Group has been commissioned to oversee the sales process. "High demand confirms the importance of the project", adds Thomas Zabel, Managing Director of Zabel Property Group. "Even before the official launch, more than 20 percent of the available apartments have already been sold and notarized." Construction began at the start of the year, with completion scheduled for December 2017.
The development located at Gabriele-Tergit-Promenade, is compromised of two towers, each with 14 levels and linked by a central block. 165 apartments will be created on levels four to fourteen, with floor plans ranging from two to six rooms, from 31 to 270 square meters. An entire spectrum of apartments will be available, from smaller units- cleverly designed to make maximum use of the available space, to expansive penthouses. "We are well aware of the great responsibility in terms of urban development and the corresponding expectations facing this project", says Blankenberg. Every apartment will feature a balcony, terrace or recessed balcony; rooftop terraces are also planned for several of the properties on the upper level. The street level areas are designed for retail space that will house stores to serve the daily needs of future residents. Meanwhile, the first three floors will be transformed into 38 serviced apartments, providing the ideal alternative to hotel accommodation.
The in-house concierge service will deal with all sorts of errands on request and is there to take care of maintenance and repairs round the clock. The inner courtyard will feature professional landscaping, while common areas will be decorated using an architect-designed standard color scheme, to create a consistent and harmonious ensemble. Parking areas for bikes and vehicles will be provided on the ground level and basement floors.
The property development is being created at the heart of the capital, at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin-Mitte. Within sight of the Sony Center, Leipziger Platz- with the Mall of Berlin, Friedrichstraße, the Brandenburg Gate, and Reichstag building are all just a short walk away. The Tiergarten and Gleisdreieck Park are also nearby. As for culture, the Neue Nationalgalerie, Kulturforum, and the Berliner Philharmonie concert hall are practically on the doorstep. Besides having some of the city's best hotels and restaurants, Potsdamer Platz also boasts direct transport links through the underground and suburban railway ‘S-bahn' services.
