The German daily newspaper Handelsblatt recently interviewed Thomas Zabel, Head of Residential Development Germany, on JLL’s Branded Residences Report. In the "Living in a Porsche" article, Zabel says that the international trend will reach Germany: "We are having concrete talks with potential suppliers in Berlin and Frankfurt.”
Handelsblatt’s report notes that the concept of branded residences is yet to be implemented in Germany.
According to Zabel, one explanation is Germany’s real estate boom and the strong competition for developments. "Hotel chains are eager to bring their brand residences to Germany’s big cities," says Thomas Zabel.
